Write to us
It helps if you tell us:
- your phone model;
- the app version — the line at the bottom of Settings;
- what happened, and what you expected.
Short answers
The app doesn't hear me.
Word Gallery needs the microphone to hear your answers — and on iPhone, speech recognition too. If you didn't allow it, the home screen says so. You can allow it in your phone's settings: on iPhone, on Android.
Do I need the internet?
To set up, once: the words are downloaded. After that lessons work offline, but the app needs a connection from time to time — to download the paintings of the words coming next, and, if you are signed in, to sync your progress with our server. Without a connection a lesson opens only if your phone can recognise speech offline — if it can't, the app tells you so before the lesson starts.
Can I learn on two phones? How do I keep my progress?
Sign in with the same account on both. If you are not signed in, your progress is kept on this phone only.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: on the home screen, tap your account icon, then Delete account. Or on the web: Delete your account. Your account, your words, progress and settings are deleted from our servers and from your phone; this can't be undone. Words you added to the shared collection stay in it, without your name.
